I see a suspected mismatch of ID types in the code. syntbase uses [GetRemoteVolumeFromID](https://github.com/duplicati/duplicati/blob/0306b3dd531c3644a4cb2524a22d76b715504b80/Duplicati/Library/Main/Database/LocalBackupDatabase.cs#L967) which takes a RemoteVolume table ID, but is [given](https://github.com/duplicati/duplicati/blob/0306b3dd531c3644a4cb2524a22d76b715504b80/Duplicati/Library/Main/Operation/Backup/UploadSyntheticFilelist.cs#L51) a Fileset table ID from [lasttempfileid](https://github.com/duplicati/duplicati/blob/0306b3dd531c3644a4cb2524a22d76b715504b80/Duplicati/Library/Main/Operation/BackupHandler.cs#L439) which uses [GetIncompleteFilesets](https://github.com/duplicati/duplicati/blob/0306b3dd531c3644a4cb2524a22d76b715504b80/Duplicati/Library/Main/Database/LocalBackupDatabase.cs#L941). This could explain the weirdness when it [targets](https://github.com/duplicati/duplicati/issues/2329#issuecomment-281472917) dindex and dblock files. The variable isn’t used in the actual synthetic filelist creation but might [suppress](https://github.com/duplicati/duplicati/blob/0306b3dd531c3644a4cb2524a22d76b715504b80/Duplicati/Library/Main/Operation/Backup/UploadSyntheticFilelist.cs#L54) it inadvertently, in addition to causing hard-to-answer questions.

Found this while looking at my own log warnings of this sort while wondering if there’s any reasonable way of digging the last few files out of the partially completed backup [here](https://forum.duplicati.com/t/restore-backup-with-only-dblock-and-dindex-files/5766) where it’s unclear it will do more backups.
