The best configuration ftp BACKUP

i have a question .

please what is the best configuration for FTP backup i have many pc with Windows 10 and the server FTP is a Debian server

FTP is probably one of the least reliable protocols. Do you have control over this Debian server? If so can you possibly use SFTP instead?
