Should "Delete remote files" remove the folder?

When deleting a backup, if “Delete remote files” is selected and the resulting folder is empty, should Duplicati remove the empty folder?

Personally, I feel that if Duplicati CREATED the folder (such as can happen with “Test connection”) then Duplicati should clean it up - otherwise it should be left alone. However, I don’t know that Duplicati records anywhere (.json file?) whether or not the destination folder was pre-existing.

I agree with that. There is currently no “delete folder” operation, so it would need to be implemented in all backends.

For S3 and similar, there is no folder to delete (the path just simulates a folder for display reasons), so it would do nothing.
