Restore test failed: "Remote file referenced as ..., but not found in list, registering a missing remote file"

Hello everyone,
I’ve done a restore test with Duplicati 2.0.
I’ve simulated a situation in which I don’t have my pc anymore,
but only my backup files in OneDrive for Business.
I downloades my backup files by OneDrive for Business client.
Using a new (“clean”) copy of Duplicati 2.0, launched with the --portable-mode option,
I chose “Direct restore from backup files” option.
Duplicati 2.0 told me it was recreating a temporary database;
then it told me it was restoring files.
When it finished, it gave me the error:
“Remote file referenced as duplicati-bc39bbcdb32eb49318972f71da00de022.dblock.zip.aes, but not found in list, registering a missing remote file”
and no file was restored.
I found I’m not the first person that faces this problem,
so I think something should be fixed in Duplicati 2.0
(this file is truly missing in backup files folder;
it can be due to a OneDrive error, but why Duplicati goes on
making successful backups even if this file is missing?).
I know other people succeded in having a successful restore by the
–no-backend-verification=true option
but, in my understanding, by this option I can skip a check, but
it doesn’t seem a good solution if this missing file
contains part of my data!

Now, can anyone help me, what should I do
to have a backup I can rely on in case my pc dies ?
For example, I should run a create/repair database ?

Thanks in advance…

As I posted in an other (older) thread but thought I would add here as it is a current query, I had a

“ignoring remote file listed as Deleted: duplicati-ie09222086d444eb5ad1e32e77dafc8fc.dindex.zip.aes”

warning, so I deleted the remote file manually having read another thread, only to get 2 new warnings for

duplicati-bcc4a9c27044f461ea6a90fdfa977061a.dblock.zip.aes
duplicati-bf2eed25ce3db49258f8f929965227d39.dblock.zip.aes

Even though backups continue to be logged as “success” and these are only warnings, I am wondering if they can be relied upon.

I’m sorry to say, but I think that, until now,
Duplicati 1.3.4 is still more reliable than Duplicati 2.0.
For now, I think I will use Duplicati 1.3.4 for my backups, I hope that future releases of 2.0 will
make me change my mind. With 1.3.4, it happened more than once that my pc crashed, and I was able to recover my data. With 2.0, if my pc crashes, I could face errors like this one, and I will not know if I could recover my files, or if the files recovered are all my original files, or if something is missing.
To upload files generated by Duplicati 1.3.4 to an external server, I will use OneDrive client or Gdrive client.
