# Reencrypt repository

Hi. I downloaded all the backup files to the local computer. How to correctly change their password to a more complex one now. **Duplicati.CommandLine.RecoveryTool.exe** does not allow to repack with a new password, only with the old one. How can i reencrypt it?

Someone made a python script that can do this. See this post for more info, with a link to the script:
