There were some posts recently on what --full-remote-verification actually does, and the [documentation](https://duplicati.readthedocs.io/en/latest/06-advanced-options/#full-remote-verification) says it looks deeper, opening up the files instead of just checking hashes. It’s not a replacement for high [test](https://duplicati.readthedocs.io/en/latest/04-using-duplicati-from-the-command-line/#the-test-command) samples. Samples, by the way, also [accepts](https://github.com/duplicati/duplicati/blob/94cf55a231f7e72e528bd2e2e97af808d125071c/Duplicati/CommandLine/Commands.cs#L679) `all` or `everything`, if you don’t want to make up your own very-high value.

Discussion is in several posts around [Backup issues following NAS crash - Hash mismatch](https://forum.duplicati.com/t/backup-issues-following-nas-crash-hash-mismatch/5303/11?u=ts678) and I just tested too, using samples of 1 along with --full-remote-verification. I got only one sample-set downloaded, watching the log.
