I am using Duplicati successfully to handle backups and restores to Backblaze B2. My one quibble is that at the moment, my backup and restore performance is worse than I expected (backups taking about three hours, restores about an hour and fifteen minutes [source data size is about 1 GB for the initial backup and about 370-400 MB incrementally]). The origin server is a dedicated server, and my volume size is set to 256 MB with the advanced option for B2 list page size set to 1000. Can anyone think of any other tweaks I could make to try and increase performance? Thanks!
Have you watched your system stats (bandwidth, CPU, memory, drive usage) to see if any of them are spiking for “long” periods?
Tuning suggestions are likely going to be somewhat unique to your environment and destination.
