In my opinion, identifying a broken set during a test is a good thing as it gives me a real view into what I can restore.
Plus, it lets me look into the issue when I’m not in crisis mode while trying to restore data. Depending on the ultimate cause of the issue I then have the opportunity to reevaluate all parts of the backup - sources, connection, destination, and yes Duplicati itself.
