Installing duplicati SPK on Synology NAS

Synology made some significant changes between DSM 6 and 7 that broke many packages. Some more info here:

Thanks for the replies. I had continued to dig after posting and found that Docker had been used successfully with Duplicati if a Synology NAS was running DSM v7.x so am pursueing that option. The reason it’s broken is that Synology changed the way root permissions are accessed with v7.x and it broke a LOT of other peoples apps as well.
