I used the following guide but I can’t install Duplicati on my OS:

> **[Installation - Duplicati 2 User's Manual](https://docs.duplicati.com/en/latest/02-installation/)**
>
> Documentation for Duplicati 2

I get this error:

```plaintext
sudo apt install mono-devel gtk-sharp2 libappindicator0.1-cil libmono-2.0-1
Lettura elenco dei pacchetti... Fatto
Generazione albero delle dipendenze... Fatto
Lettura informazioni sullo stato... Fatto
E: Impossibile trovare il pacchetto libappindicator0.1-cil
E: Impossibile trovare alcun pacchetto tramite il glob "libappindicator0.1-cil"
```

When I open the ‘.deb’ file with ‘App Center’, the OS starts the installation and doesn’t finish it. I don’t get any other errors.
Thanks

If you are new to Duplicati and are willing to try the latest Canary release, you don’t have to worry about installing mono or any of those other dependencies.

Normally you do need to be careful with Canary releases, but anecdotally I have found 2.0.9.101 very reliable. You might want to switch to a more stable channel (such as Beta) once a new beta is released though.
