# I don't understand a Notice in Logfiles

Hi everyone,

Duplicati runs under - 2.3.0.0 - 2.3.0.0\_stable\_2026-04-14

For a few weeks now, I’ve been getting a warning message in the periodic backup logs:

> [Warning-Duplicati.Library.Main.Controller-OptionValidationError]: The value \“\” passed to --deleted-files is not a valid path.

Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to figure out what this message means or if I need to change anything.  
Does anyone in the community have any advice?

  --deleted-files (Path): List of deleted files
    Use this option to supply a list of deleted files. This option will be
    ignored unless the option --changed-files is also set.

```

This is pretty rarely used stuff IMO. Are you using it? Did it get in by accident?  
You can probably try a job Export As Command line and see if it’s really there.
