If I upgrade from v1.3.4, is it correct to assume all the backup sets will be incompatible with v2.0? Any suggestions on upgrading welcome…

I’m afraid there isn’t an upgrade path. Too many differences in the architecture.
The best option would be to restore the data and back it up to v2. But this obviously loses versions…
