Simply for the sake of clarity for anybody that lands on this thread experiencing the same error, the original error was some sort of communication problem between my system and Backblaze B2. The communication error was temporary, and resumed working the following day.
The rest of this thread was twofold:
- Fixing the database inconsistencies created by the communication error
- Understanding why the “rebuild database” needed to use the dblock files instead of the dlist/dindex files
