# Duplicati's scheduler

It sounds like you are running the default install using the tray icon. If you set the tray icon to start at login then backups should run as scheduled _ **IF** _ you are logged in.

If you want scheduled backups even when you’re not logged in then you might want to check out the “Run automatically as service” section of this post:
