the same with the Duplicati Console Duplicati Console Settings not persisting is for the Webinterface.
In this Case are using the Docker Container and the Design Setting are reset to Light and saved persisted. Or the Language show the changed Setting but the was English to. A manually change to English and back to the other Language like German are required.
Or the Remote Access Setting: Allow remote access

For the console: That is “by design”.
The user preference is saved with cookies/local-storage on the device that accesses the page.
The logic for this is that you may want different settings based on what device you are using.
I detect that you are suggesting that setting a German language on local instance is not sticking.
I cannot reproduce that, but if you can provide a step-by-step guide for how to do so (preferably with screenshots), I will try to reproduce.

We see German, but English are active. We change to English, English are active. We change back to German, German are active. The Time Format are Language combined. But have a mixed first. This was fixed too when the Language Change Steps are approved.
