Duplicati Console Monitoring not working

Hello,

the Duplicati Console Monitoring not working and empty.

The Machines are online but have no Entrys.

For Example:

Many Thanks!

Many Greetings!

I’m having the same problem with any new machines I add to the Duplicati Console. The first 4 machines I added on the 16th & 17th March all worked fine and the backups for them are being reported correctly. Any machines I’ve added since then show in the console as online, but no backup data is being recorded.

Hi @Revan335 and @ADW, welcome to the forum :waving_hand:

When connecting a machine to the console, the console will send the reporting url to the client, so it automatically reports new backups into the console.

You can see if reporting is configured on the local instance on the settings page. Look for a blue “Reporting configured by server” marker:

You can click the blue marker to get the reporting url, if needed.

If the blue marker is not present, it is possible you have disabled reporting on the machine in the console. You can try to disable/enable the logging if it does not want to configure automatically.

You can also configure the logging manually. To do that got to the console:
https://app.duplicati.com/app/settings/general

Then scroll to the bottom and copy the reporting url:

Then head over to the local instance, and scroll down on the settings page to the Advanced Options section. Click the “Edit contents as text” option:

Then paste the setting:

Remember to click “Save settings”. With the manual configuration, it does not matter if the configuration works or not (and you do not need to connect the machine if you prefer to only configure reporting).

We discovered some capacity issues that caused timeouts, preventing new machines from correctly being registered. The issues are now resolved, and your machines should connect correctly now.

Contact Duplicati support if you are still seeing issues.
