For about a month, my Duplicati backups to Drime seem to have stopped working. Drime seems to be able to view and open restores, but not backup. When I try testing the connection using the API, it remains stuck on this “Testing connection…”:

Best thing you can do to troubleshoot is to enable verbose logging while running a backup so that you at least get a proper error message.

True. You can do this by opening two tabs. In one tab, go to “About Duplicati” → “Logs” → “Live logs” and then choose the “Verbose” level. Then go back to the other tab and run the operation (e.g., click the “Test” button). You should now see the log information.

It worked on its own after a few hours. Thank you still! 🙂 I am trying to get this post deleted, as it is a bit useless now haha… I flagged it for moderation; that’s the only way it seems?

We generally don’t delete posts unless there is something that should not be there anymore.

I guess the value of this post is now “If you have a hanging Drime connection, try to wait a few hours and see if it gets fixed” 😉
