How to create a backup of a folder, before performing the backup, I need to delete files older than 90 days.

Are you talking about deleting files on the source side? If so Duplicati doesn’t do that natively, but you could do it with a pre-backup script.
If you mean files on the back end, Duplicati will prune things according to your retention policy. But it’s not as simple as deleting files over a certain age due to the deduplication.
