# Backend quota is close to being exceeded

[Find large files in backup?](https://forum.duplicati.com/t/find-large-files-in-backup/7256) and [Visualize backup data usage](https://forum.duplicati.com/t/visualize-backup-data-usage/6691) have some ideas for identifying things to trim, however, as has been mentioned, the deduplication (also compression and versions) make it challenging. Please also note the space might not be immediately reclaimed, but eventually a [compact](https://duplicati.readthedocs.io/en/latest/04-using-duplicati-from-the-command-line/#the-compact-command) will free space.
