I created the tread about MEGA not wanting to officially support their API anymore.
Some time after that, I migrated my backups to Google Drive, as my MEGA account was getting temporarily banned regularly.
I opened a ticket about that once that had happened the second time but didnt hear anything from them - thats why I migrated to Google Drive.
However, sometime after I received a ticket closure message from them that they solved the cause for my account getting banned (most likely for usage of a third party software (duplicati in this case))
So I would think that they could see in their logs why I was getting banned and didnt mention that at all but simply answered:
Thank you for your patience.
We have now resolved the issue on our end.
Please let us know if you continue to experience issues.
That could mean that they have not started to technically restrict API access yet.
