That’s definitely not a normal experience, though it looks like one other user has reported the issue - did you get a chance to read through this thread?

Database disk image is malformed

I’m running several backup jobs from one PC, all backing up to a remote SMB share on a NAS. Most of them are working fine, but one gives the error “database disk image is malformed”, and that persists even after a database repair or recreate. What can I do to diagnose further? I was able to open the database with a SQLite tool and it doesn’t seem to be obviously corrupt.
